ndrea Lee, who is a rising LPGA Tour star, is emphasized by her maiden win at the Portland Classic of 2022. Lee has been successful at every level, most notably at Standford University earning 9 wins during her collegiate career and playing for 17 weeks as the top Women's Amateur player in the World. Following her win of the Mark H. McCormack Award as the top-ranked Women's Amateur around the globe following the completion of the season in 2019, Lee made the switch to professional. Andrea Lee was a Los Angeles born girl in August 15th, 1998. James taught her to play golf since she was 5 years old. As a young girl She began playing in tournaments. She was awarded 50 championships when she was a junior player in just four years. She qualified for in 2014 at the US Women's Open at Pinehurst No. with her father as caddie. She was just 15 at the time of this. Lee was requested by sponsors to participate at the year 2015 ANA Inspiration LPGA Tour, but she missed the cut. Lee was a member of the USA in the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup Women's World Amateur Team Championship and the Junior Ryder Cup. Lee became Stanford's most decorated golfer to ever grace the university in 2016, when she received nine championships over the next three years. Lee became a professional in the year 2019, after leaving Stanford University. Her amateur playing career spans 17 weeks of playing at the highest in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee has also been awarded the Mark H. McCormack Award in 2019, following her completion of the year at the top of the amateur ranking. Lee had four holes in succession and also one Albatross while an amateur. When she made her debut playing on the LPGA Tour, Lee had two top-10 finishes. She was 7th at the AIG Women's Open in 2020 which was held on Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee's first LPGA Tour victory came in 2022 in the Portland Classic. Lee dedicated the win to her great-grandfather Min who died in 2012. He always called me a winner and believe that I was a winner. It was a privilege to have him as a great-grandfather.
